Barack Obama is NOT a socialist, and the only ideology he subscribes to is personal power. If a
Marxist image is what it takes to get elected, then this is what he projects. But it does not
mean he actually believes in Marxism, nor does it mean he will actually implement Marxist policies.

Obama is best likened to Kool-Aid, a tooth-rotting beverage that comes in any flavor and color
the public demands, but lacks substance. To say that Barack Obama is a Marxist or socialist is
like saying he is grape or lemon-lime: In fact, he is ALL flavors at once, and you just perceive
him as whatever your favorite flavor happens to be.

Obama's magic is his hypnotic effect, his ability to convince just about everyone that he
supports their respective causes. Stoners believe Obama supports marijuana legalization,
despite being on record as opposing it. Similarly, gays believe Obama supports same-sex
marriage, despite being on record as opposing it. Radical left-wing communists believe Obama
will lead the proletarian revolution, despite accepting millions of dollars in campaign
contributions from global corporations and billionaires.

Given that leftist Marxists comprise a tiny minority of the U.S. population, there is no reason
Obama would pander to them at all. He already enjoys their blind support, and it is the center
and right he must appeal to, at least until he has fully consolidated his power. Once he has
secured his power, he will strongly resemble Saddam Hussein, who is known more for his cult of
personality and heavy-handed decrees than for any specific political or economic ideology.
